The Global Information Technology Management Association (GITMA) is an organization that provides unique opportunities for researchers and IT professionals worldwide to network, collaborate, and exchange ideas.
Since its inception 22 years ago, GITMA has hosted conferences across America, Europe, and Asia, addressing a wide range of topics relevant to the rapidly evolving global technology industry. These topics include AI, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Blockchain, Digital Transformation, and other cutting-edge areas. Each year, the annual conference brings together representatives from more than 63 universities across 15 countries on three continents.

GITMA was created by Dr. Prashant Palvia.
Dr. Prashant Palvia founded the Global Information Technology Management Association (GITMA) to create a platform where scholars and industry professionals alike could exchange ideas on information technology management.
The GITMA Conference solidified as an NGO.
The GITMA Conference regional footprint in Asia.
The GITMA Conference achieved international presence, expanding beyond Asia to other continents.
For the first time in its history, the GITMA conference was held in the United States, marking a new milestone in its history as it reached international presence.
Gustavo Pares becomes Conference chair.

With over 2,700 citations, Professor Turan’s work significantly contributes to the fields of information systems and technology management.

Her research focuses on eGovernment, IT in emerging economies, and applied analytics, with publications in premier journals such as Communications of the ACM and Government Information Quarterly. Dr. Joseph holds a Ph.D. in Business with an Information Systems focus from the City University of New York and an MBA from Baruch College. She has received accolades including the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Professor of the Year 2023 at Penn State Harrisburg.

Dr. Cebeci has contributed to various publications, including studies on marketing ethics and the operational efficiency of international airports. Additionally, he holds the position of Deputy Director at the Artificial Intelligence Systems Application and Research Center at Sakarya University.
